I haven't any experience with photo shopping. Got any ideas?
We were driving down the road at 70mph. no time to center. han my Nikon Coolpix.
Again, Nikon Coolpix, at least I was able to stop here.
We were traveling at 50 mph. This was snow in Tucson.
This was at waterfront in Savannah Ga.
Saw these on Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, thought they were neat.
The statue picture seems to have a slightly "blown out" sky, and the shadows hide the facial details. Adjusting two sliders in PSE9 kind of balanced the two a bit. ( Enhance / adjust lighting / shadows-highlights ). Even more detail could be pulled out by layering the different aspects of the photo, and then adjusting the "opacity" ( strength ?) of each respective layer to get the balance you like.
This 5 minute video clip shows a similar project :

Thank You. I will definatly look on that site. And Thanks for explaining in beginner mode.

Does not your automobile have brakes? :)
Unfortunately, My husband was driving and did not care to stop after 6 days on the road. We went from Me. to Az, to Az to SC and back to Az, then from Az to AL, to TN, to Ga and the back to ME. I did get alot of good shots through my window. Also missed alot when I was driving. My hubby is not a picture man. He is getting better.
Here's the best I could do with Mr. Lincoln. If I remember correctly, Lincoln's bust is a bronze color so I isolated his bust any played around with photo filters to change the color, lightened the shadows on his face and sharpened it a bit. On the whole pic I did auto levels, auto contrast, auto color. I then darkened the highlights and increased midtone contrast to bring out the clouds better and blue up the sky a bit. I also cropped as I felt the foreground rocks and dirt were distracting and on the right side I took it in a little just to eliminate the little bunch of tree branches that were not attached to the tree.

With the cars. I really like this photo. The colors of the cars make the photo. I know what you mean about having to take photos out the window while going 70 mph. I vacation with my brother and it's always the same story with him. Very frustrating  . Any way here is my treatment of this photo. By the way I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. First I did auto levels and auto contrast. I then isolated the cars and sharpened them a bit more. Then I isolated the mountains increased contrast to give more depth and darkened them a little to give more color. There is too much road/parking lot on the bottom of the photo. I cropped most of that out.

Thanks. They look pretty good. I did crop one of the red car. It looked real good, But I wasn't sure what to do with all of them. I did crop this a bit when I printed it. I took out the date and zoomed in on the car, baut apparently I didn't save it.
