I took these late yesterday afternoon. It was my day off and I had hoped to go to the botanical garden and take photos but the constant storms kept me inside. I finally couldn't stand it any more and decided photos in the yard were better than none at all.
These are with my new Tamron 24-70. I've had it and the Tamron 70-200 for a couple of weeks but haven't had many opportunities to put them to work. I am VERY happy with these lenses.
The skies were very overcast, and it was about 6:15pm. This was handheld. No pp other than to resize.
Very pretty, springy pictures!

I'm always amazed at what a few drops of water can add to an already beautiful flower. Thanks for sharing these.
A breath of spring and lovely color! Nicely done as I eagerly await the same!

Thank you, Vicki. I only got a few photos when I heard rustling leaves and realized the next rain was coming at me. The bushes are in the front of the house and I had come out the back door. I had to run around the house to the back door, put the camera inside and grab the dog. Just as I shut the storm door the bottom fell out.

Thank you Carlysue!! I hope it arrives quickly for you. I know everyone is tired of winter.
I look forward to seeing your spring photos.
