Here are a couple of shots of bear berry leaves (Seward Peninsula). Bear berries are "first invader" species on disturbed ground in these parts. Because of the substantial amount of mining done in the area around Nome, these plants are common in the area. They vary a lot in color, but usually are a bright red.
The red berries shown here are actually the berries of a much smaller plant that grows in association with bear berries. Probably some kind of symbiotic mutualism.

The pictures came across so corrupted that I immediately took them down. The next picture I attempted (flowers) came over so dark that I am tempted to do the same. Puzzling. The first two pictures I posted on this forum came across very nicely.

Check your color settings when converting to JPGs think you will be successful if you use sRGB for your Color Space. Check the image on your monitor and it should look the same on the web.
