Got any colorful Native American pics...
Not so colorful--Mesa Verde, CO, taken in Dec., 1989 using a Pentax K1000. Couldn't tell you which lens as I don't remember.

Native Americans from Jalisco, Mexico.
No pictures to add, but have to say I love all the color after a weekend in the snow. Gessman, your opening shot is stunning.

The actual name of the group is Tloke Nahuake Traditional Aztec Dancers, also known as Aztec Fire Dancers. The Juan Salinas family, and the original name of the group is Chimali which means "Shield", the shield is an important element to a warrior going into battle. During the festivities, shields are carried to represent the protection of a family. Over time, the name of Tloke Nahuake was also adopted as it means Together and United which also represents "Family". That is the core of the group and name, family.

Very nice but looks too cold for me ;) the closest thing I have was when we drove thru Cherokee, NC but none of my pics suggest Native American! But Ima go check. ;)
Hi Miss Stephie.
Heres a bunch of pics (toursty snaps) of Cherokee taken on a bad weather day following a trip to Bryson City (about 20 mins away) I was heading up towards but not to Gatlinburg to visit the waterfalls on that narrow twisty road and maybe scoot across to Cades Cove but the weather broke so I headed off to Florida instead. The museum in Cherokee is amazing and maybe the best museum I have been to in the U.S.
Hope you enjoy them
Ian
Got to call Theresa as she woke up from hibernation. Will send balance of museum photos later.

Thanks Ian, for your contribution. There's some really good shots in there, typifying and characterizing the landscape in that region.
Thanks William. That's good enough right there. A wonderful image.
