Since you're an expert ,
you should inform those idiot VW emplyees in Tennessee that they need to change their minds and immediately join the UAW Union .
Those evil VW executives are already plotting to cut their salaries in half,or even less , cancel their benefits and vacations and only employ them on a day -to-day basis . Lol

Unions like the ones here in NY that pay a FLAG MAN 84 bucks an hour?
What training and expertise that that entail? 15 minutes of training?

Engineers designing avionics and medical equipment don't earn 84 bucks an hour. Simply shows what hacks unions are

This is another post that does not show the true intention of the company. The problem is not with the Governor, of New York, but with a company who is trying to rid themselves of a UNION. If not, why the move to Alabama, a "right to work" state. Know that every employee hired in Alabama will be working at the same job a New Yorker held at about half the pay, and even less, or no benefits. Those new workers can look forward to no vacation to amount to, and only a day-to-day employment. As for the political Hoggers, don't follow the politics, follow the buck. The buck never lies, after all it's "in God we Trust".

Ask the good people of Alabama what the steelworker's union did for the industry in Birmingham.

Good for Remington, New York will be stuck with the unemployment benefits and all the politicians will be happy. I'm happy for Alabama, Union or not (I am a 50 year retired union member). They could have gone to China, Japan or even Indonesia and paid much less for a new workforce. They got what they wanted, and Remington was there before their grandfathers were born.

I'm a libberralll and I own nine handguns, four rifles and two shotguns.
I shoot several times per week and belong to three guns clubs. I've been an NRA member since I was twelve.

Now, please be so kind as to not paint all lib-er-als as anti gun.

BTW, I reload all my brass and shotgun shells so I'm amused by how some vendors have become greedy. Bass Pro Shops are not gouging us, but DICK'S
is .

Please, we gun guys should stick together regardless of other differences.

I am a conservative and like you I'm an avid shooter (couple of times a week). I also hunt deer, bear, turkey, wild hog and shoot dove and quail and I will always defend our right to bare arms. if not through our present elected officials then the next.

When ever you elect a liberal they want to take your guns away. Stop electing liberals. If you don't then you are part of the problem too.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) Doesn't Want Them
Remington, one of the world's largest gun manufacturers, will on Monday
join Gov. Robert Bentley (R) to announce they are bringing over 2,000 jobs
to Alabama.
Most of the jobs will be relocated from their Ilion, NY plant, and the
initial investment in Alabama will be $87 million.
Founded in 1816 in upstate New York, the company is one of the nation's
oldest continuously operating manufacturers. Remington is the only U.S.
manufacturer of both firearms and ammunition products and one of the
largest domestic producers of shotguns and rifles.
Remington first began considering new locations after the New York
legislature passed the Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement (SAFE)
Act in response to the tragic shootings in Newtown, Conn. It broadened the
definition of so-called "assault weapons" to include a wide range of guns,
including the Bushmaster, which was being manufactured at Remington's New
York plant.
A month ago, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) said, "extreme conservatives" who
are "right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay," have "no place in the
state of New York."
Gov. Bentley responded "In Alabama we strongly support and uphold our
great U.S. Constitution on which our nation and our states were founded.
"The Constitution serves to protect individual freedoms. Among them are
those guaranteed in the Second Amendment, which protects the right of the
people to keep and bear Arms. We will protect the freedoms of individuals
and welcome anyone or any company to Alabama to discover as so many have,
that we are a pro-business state filled with good, hardworking people.
"If Gov. Cuomo doesn't want hard working pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment
people in his state, we will gladly take them here in Alabama."

Those three famous words, "Come on down". And maybe, when the other manufacturers get tired of being a business in a state that hates them, they'll come on down too.

At this rate the South will rise again and so shall it be. I don't understand how people can afford to live in NY, we have talked to many New Yorkers who sold their homes and purchased RV's and travel full time as we do.
