If you can read thank a teacher. If you read it in English, thank a soldier.

The next thing you know these 'concerned' educators (the ones who have been educated well beyond their level of intelligence) will want to outlaw candy canes at Christmas.

Hell, BO and his clowns are following the COWARD- PIVEN Strategy to a T.

Too bad the lefty leaning boobs don't look it up.
They'd crap in their pants when they get to the parts that will effect them.

YOU Sir have a real problem.

A wounded vet, thank you but stop wearing it on your sleeve.

There are 10's of thousands of wounded vets out there and they don't live in Hilton Head.

So grow up!

celebrate the holidays at home...
no wonder the US is lagging behind other countries..
We have to feed them in the morning...teach them between all the holidays...feed them at lunch...break up their fights....give them their medicine...individualize instruction...keep them for an hour in the morning before school...help them with their homework for a few hours after school....what next...tuck them into bed
Valentines Day, Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah...w... (show quote)

I think it would be swweeeet,if they would concentrate on educating our kids so they can function and get a job in today's market.
Leave it to the parents to decide their nutrition.
When did it become ok for the school system to take on the role of parents.

mmmm, yeah. What if the parents have decided no candy, and the schools then provide it? You can specify your family rules, but then your kid is the only one who can't have any. Diabetics?

That's right! Saint Valentine is being outlawed, or at least diminished, in some public schools.

While not really a religious occasion, Valentine's Day has always been a fun day for young kids as well as old lovers.

Now, some concerned educators want to put a damper on the celebrations:

Forget the art supplies and fresh fruit. Where's the love?

Anyone who believes what they hear on FOX or on MSNBC is a complete idiot. Neither are news stations, anymore than reality shows represent reality. I am not surprised, but seriously disillusioned that anyone gets upset about not celebrating all the major Hallmark Holidays.

Let's see all the SEIU and other union members work on CHRISTMAS.

The reason we are the nation we are today is because we honor our past and embrace our religious beliefs.

The EU has give it up for what?
Becoming third rate nations, boy that's what you call really advanced!
