Something that doesn't happen often here is snow. I know everyone in the North has been plagued with it and are tired of it so you probably don't want to see any more photos of it. I just wanted to share a few.

That's exactly what he was saying!! The snow shut this town down also. I didn't have to go to work so Murphy and I went out to play!

Wasn't it bee-you-tea-full??!! We topped out at about four inches on the west side of Winston.......and I made snow creme!!!! Yeah!! But not enough for a snowman...just an army of tiny ones!! :) I like your bench. I made a photo of mine all covered with flakies too. (and for once is wasn't people flakes)

Thank you, Singing Swan! I don't know how much actually accumulated but it was pretty. Did you take a photo of your army?
The bench is actually across the street in the neighbors yard. Every time I looked out the front window I could see it and decided I had to have a photo of it with the snow.

I'm sure it will be gone by the weekend, we are expecting the temperature to be in the upper 50's but Murphy and I will enjoy it while we can.

Always good to find a positive and a fun time even when you're tired of shoveling it. Its only January (for 1 more day) and there are still a few months more to enjoy the fun and folly of it all.

Nice shots, I lived in Atlanta from 1974 to 76,while there there was a snow flurry which made me feel more at home since I grew up in Connecticut.
