Man, those are some weird tree roots. Looks like some ice on a few. I've heard this lake was formed from the Mississippi River changing course during an enormous earthquake. I really enjoyed your set, it gave me a preview of what to expect. The Nashville Photography Club is heading there March 1st for a photo shoot. Thanks for the delightful tour.

That is correct about how the lake was formed. It is only about 10 feet deep! There are several great spots all around the lake for pictures. You can also rent boats and take pics from the lake. We weren't able to do that because the lake was frozen over. There are some awesome shots where the whole base of the tree is icicles. Enjoy your trip there!
