Today, Maine lived up to its state motto, "Maine the Way Life Should Be" - it was the ultimate winter day here in the Maine woods. Here are a few fun pics from this afternoon. Tomorrow may be another story... a sub-zero arctic blast is bearing down on us and I'll be plotting an escape...

Love them all, Kerry. First one takes the prize, though there are some beauties here, like the lake and the woods. Great work. Some flurries this morning, but nothing accumulated. The cold is coming, tho. Stay warm!

Great shots of what is truly a winter wonderland -- and its little doggie, too. The photos ALMOST make me want to click my heels three times and wish I was there.
