I love the spiders, hate the background. I don't see anyway to get a better background or blur the background without losing the spider web. Anyone want to try?

spider problem

I think you did a pretty good job with blurring the back ground and you can see the spider web better in your photo. But if you want to accent the spider, I tried doing the back ground in black and white and leaving the spider in color. That is one creepy looking spider. Is it poisonous?

That's a huge improvement. Nicely done. What technique did you use to isolate the spider so neatly?

Sugarpenny, don't know if it is poisonous or not. Sure wouldn't want to get close enough to find out. :-)

That's it.
I'm not signing onto this forum again without a towel or something LMAO

LOVE LOVE LOVE the spider... SO neat and SUCH AWESOME detail! :)

And I really like what sugarpenny did with the b&w background too.

I have some neat spider web pictures to share... not sure if it's okay here in your thread or if I should do my own.

Mine were by accident though... lol

No really great shots of spiders handy though...on the other hard-drive and I just moved so no access to them. :(

I thought the original was great. I love the colors, almost a natural bokeh background. I would have been happy with that. In the meantime, perhaps f/5.6 might be a better aperture. What did you use?

It was a 3.3 aperture. (Done on auto so the camera sometimes comes up with some weird f stops). Thanks for looking, for the suggestion, and kind comments!
