Dave B, great shot! Some HDR work perhaps?
Will be returning here to spend more time in the park in the future.

I chose this one because I love the colors and flow in it. The seed is the size of my little fingernail; the leaf it rests on is about two inches long and one wide.
Happy new year to everyone and wishes for all of you for a great new year with many wonderful pictures to share again.
One of my favorites this year was being able to shoot many pictures of this fawn in my neighbors back yard.

Thanks to everyone who's contributed here so far. Great photos, every one.
But we have 41,500 members here on UHH! Let's get busy posting your favorites! Don't care if the shot's a world-class photo, a Pulitzer Prize winner, or a snapshot of Aunt Bessie. If it's your favorite of the year, that's all that counts! Please let the rest of us enjoy it with you!
Hello - GREAT shots everyone! Happy New Year!!
This is a picture of my Son"s Homecoming Date with her young brother. He was reluctant to get into the pictures but she coaxed him over by showing him the flowers she had on her wrist... A great moment.
Thank you for sharing Everyone!!

How 'bout a thread of what you consider your best shot of the year past?
Doesn't have to be award-winning, doesn't matter if you've already posted it. I'd just like to see what folks here consider their numero unos for 2013. Here's mine.
Happy New Year to everyone, and thanks for the memories of 2013!
Treepusher, Happy New Year, thanks so much for the opportunity. Great Idea. Cheers, Robin
To all other viewers, Happy New Year also. This is a dream situation of mine, so, please keep negative comments off the screen. I'm quite aware of the short comings, believe me.! Sometimes compromising creates more problems than it solves. Picture taken in western Montana with the Mission Mountains in the background. Cheers, Robin

I don't know if this is my best shot from 2013, but it is one most people seem to like.

Hard to choose what is best but I did like this one of my son's new puppy. Her name is Saphira and she's a Dogue de Bordeaux.

What a great idea, Randy! I loved looking through everyone's contributions. Fun memories! It has been a very good year here on UHH! Here's one of my favorites - grandson Elliot humored me with a newborn photoshoot at 10 days old :-D
