Love the pose, hate the Background.

She is also too far to the right. I should have paid more attention. Oh, well.

I like that she's off-center. Have you tried a soft focus or "faux bokeh?" Pretty girl with nice light!

Sorry folks, I don't think that's the REAL issue here.

The lighting on the "subject" and and focus don't match.

This is a composite shot......and (my opinion) not well done.

No, it is not a composite shot. I used a bounce flash. But you are right. something does seem amiss. This is very evident when you supersize it and look at her shirt. I have had this problem in low light conditions with improper settings but I was using a 50mm prime F1.8. This should not have had a problem. The original actually looked pretty good. I did not even crop it.

But I think I found the problem. The photo above was saved at 414kb. This new one I saved at 1.2 Mb. The problem seems to have gone away. Tell me what you think.

To me, the background seems too busy. Go ahead and play with it if you want.

I don't want her centered but I think it would be more natural to the eyes if I had her to the left instead of the right.

i don't know,, i think with the angle of her elbow, and the way her eyes are looking,, maybe this way is better. Just an opinion.

what's important, is how YOU feel about it.
