This mess with Adobe is a reminder of a few of the tremendous dangers in the "cloud" concept. The scheme requires you to leave your credit card information on file with the company...permanently. The pile of credit card and other data is an incredible gold mine and invitation to hackers and other thieves. That fact, coupled with often lax security, makes it not only possible but likely that you will suffer crimes including credit card fraud and even identity theft.
