That, if you don't mind my saying, is the sort of photograph that I would like to take.

I'm flattered that you should say that. To do street photography has much to do with observation and the way you see things. If something catches your eye then there is a reason it caught your eye. It was interesting, it was amusing or it was just plain weird. I'm sure there are plenty of opportunities in Spain and you have one big advantage... sunshine :-)

Oh, sunshine can, believe it or not, become boring sometimes. I like seasonal changes and Autumn and Winter provide different opportunities.

We're having a real Indian summer, the weather is amazingly good. But it will change :-)

I like how you nicely captured that "Jack-O-" guy in the back. Looks like he's keeping a good watch over all. Love your work!

Thanks LinSight.

Scalter Street market isn't for those of nervous disposition, it's the haunt of some very shady characters.

As you know, Graham, I am a fan of your photos, and I do like this one, but I think you need a tighter crop on this. Quite a bit tighter. I love the expression on that guy's face. Intriguing.

Thank you Nightski. Your comments are very much appreciated. I had thought about a tighter crop but felt it would take away the conspiratorial aspect of the whole picture which is what I wanted to show. In other words street photography rather than street portraiture.

Great shot, Graham. I believe I would have pressed the shutter and ran. :)
