Yesterday, I went to the McMichael Gallery in Kleinberg (just north of Toronto) to view the Ansel Adams Masterworks exhibit along with the Edward Burtynsky: The Landscape That We Change exhibit. I was really pleased to see some of Adams' prints and the Burtynsky industrial prints were intriguing.

If you're in the area before September 29, I hope you'll make it a point to go visit. Milliemoments and Cliffhope - you live nearby. Don't miss it.

Speaking of Burtynsky whose marvelous exhibit on quarries we saw at the Hood Museum, Dartmouth College, here is a panorama of the spectacular Rock of Ages quarry in Barre, VT. Burtynsky's photos were better!

Amazing photo, MBW. I've never seen anything like it. They looked like stacked slabs. Is that natural? Awesome. As the politically correct valley girls might say, "Thanks for sharing".
