I was recently at Hirtle's Beach, Nova Scotia, a lovely spot that seldom has more than a couple of people and dogs wandering along it. The sound of the waves at night was wonderful. The first of these shots was taken around 7 am and the second around high noon. Amazing how the light differs at those times.

Interesting shots. Number one is the better overall shot but I preferred the sky and the foreground grass in number two. I like photos where I learn something and I learned something from you. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you John - pleased to hear your comments.

Thanks GWR100. My sister and her husband are lucky enough to have a beach house looking out on the vista in the photo. Must be nice for some, eh?

The light in #1 brings out the landscape textures + the water looks so pretty. #2 is interesting for the contrast between the sort of hazy distance and the sharp foreground. Very pleasing, both of 'em :)
Thanks Linda - appreciate your comments.
