I decided the other day to always have my camera in the car when I go out. At the local shopping center I noticed people watching a hawk that had just killed a pigeon for lunch. There are quite a few in the neighborhood but I never saw one so bold as to have lunch in a very busy parking lot. The people in the photos were preventing passing cars from running the hawk over, plus they were getting some good shots on their cell phones.
