Colorado not Nevada and the fire was in 2003, the pic was taken in December of 2009...a sad sight. Mel

The post-fire picture was taken in color. The burned forest
was in the Yuba river canyon, west slope Sierras 2 years ago.
There is a power plant 100 yds to the left.
