Hi,
I'm just joining the forum. I've been shooting pics of the great Arizona Sunsets for about 4 years, and have over 30,000 in my collection! God makes it beautiful, and all I do is click!
I've created a page at Facebook:

Absolutely beautifal brother! the shillouette of the cactus makes the shot. Also kudos for crediting the one who created the beauty in the first place. However you did more than press the trigger, God blessed you with the talent and desire to be a photographer.
That is very kind of you, indeed! I'm trying to learn how to better capture the beauty that God creates. It's such a joy to be surrounded by His great works! I've been very blessed with the images that I've captured so far! Yes, and all the credit goes to Him!!!

I to love sunrise and sunset pics. When I got a divorce from my first wife, to teach me a lesson, she burned about 10,000 slides I had taken/ Now I have taken another 2,000 with digital camera, and have them backed up twice..If anything happens with this wife, i'll take the pics before I tell her I'm leaving..
Ouch!!! My heart goes out to you, both for the divorce, and the loss of the pictures!! Anyway, enjoyed your comment!!!
I always love to see the wonders of creation. What eye has not seen all that the Lord has done.
I have just today signed up with UglyHedgehog, and it looks like there are a lot of people who love what lies in the eye of the beholder.
I have been taking photos for some time, even before I retired. I try to have a camera with me as often as I can.
I thought I would add some photos that I thought said a lot about the work of God in His works.

Welcome Roger. This is one of the best forums I have run across. Many people willing to help. I have learned so much in the short time I have been a member.
Thanks Mama!!! I hope to learn more too!
I'm uploading two pictures from last night. Yesterday, I attended the Memorial Service for a friend of mine, Linda Aper. On the way home, I noticed the beautiful storm clouds forming. So, I went out to shoot pictures to show how God was celebrating Linda's arrival in Heaven.
Not only did God produce a beautiful sunset, but He also sent rain, and even hail!! There was a period in which the rain was horizontal! I found my self tucked up against my Saguaro Cactus, trying to keep my cameras out of the rain.
The first shot shows a beautiful sunset, and the seconds shows what the desert floor looked like after the main part of the storm passed. Yup, that's a sheet of water running over the desert.
Usually, when a storm like this is approaching, I run for home. But, last night I could see that God was doing something special in the sky, and I wanted to stick around to capture these images for Linda's family. I got totally soaked, but managed to keep the cameras dry. And, I really like the shots.

Love the shot and having lived there I know the photos in Arizona can come out in so many different colors. Good job working the thirds.

I don't think I meant to add such a huge picture to the bottom of your shots. Sorry. New to this site.
Funny, because that's what I say : God did all the work. I just click the shutter :-) But we all know it is a bit more than that, right?
