My remark is about her teeth, can you do something about it?

They are likely this way I hope she will outgrow them but in the mean time, lowering the white intensity in them may help the whole effect.

You love your children well, as a photographer stop loving them and give them what is good for them, as you do with their food or education.

thank you so much English Wolf for you concerns about my daughter and her teeth and my parenting (which I feel you are calling into question because at ten she doesn't have visibal signs of correction to your liking). FYI (just incause you feel it is you place to know the details, her teeth, jaw and mouth issues are to be "fix" but require a year of visiting a facial therapist, followed by surgery and braces all scheduled for next year).

because of this uncaring SOB that thinks he can send a private message and call a 10 year olds looks into quesiton, I will NOT be sharing pictures of my children on the board anylonger.

I am truly sorry that someone would stoop so low as attack anothe rposters children. and on their apearence. My heart goes out to you, no one deserves that. I was bullied all during school based on apearence, this takes the cake. This is even more classless, mean spirited, and ignorant than the worst rant from julie. I take back angry and bitter english wolf, you are a spineless, castrated punk with no class. Clearly you are mean heartless and a total jerk. You clearly need prayer and the Lord's intervention before its too late. What could posses a person with half a brain to comment on somebody elses children like that? You need to see a psychiatrist cause clearly you have metal health issues. You owe Mwac, her daughter and everyone on this site an apology. What a punk, if she was my kid i would travel cross country to find you and give you the biggest thrasing in your life. TYhen apologize to the Lord for doing it. You have proven you are the south end of a north bound horse.

Had you read this correctly you would not have understood that I am not questioned your parenting. I am saying: You need to treat your children when photographing them as you treat them when you make their food or direct their education.
I start with 'You love your children well'
Then I followed with: 'as a photographer stop loving them and give them what is good for them' - meaning take your distance -
and ended with: 'as you do with their food or education' Meaning that regardless of their opinion they have to eat what you give, nothing else as you know what is good for them, as for the education it is an allusion to something like 'no TV until you have finished your homework' because you know what is good for them. Only a parent that care would do that.

On the photo and thread in question, I noticed that no one had the semblance of courtesy to ask you in private about what was going on. The comments to me were far worse. The SOB as you said, used gloves with the fear of offending you, I said that several time in the post.

I will now post it:

The way I see it, never mention a relationship with your model because you will never learn that way. The only thing you will get is: She is soooooo cute! Until today I have made a point of ignoring all those topics (and will -keep- passing them over, after glancing inside the topic). I have interacted with you a couple of times so I felt freer yet still very leery about sending this to you.
English_Wolf wrote:
If I offend you, I apologize.

This is hardly the case of someone who does not care and accuses you of poor parenting, is it?
The thread has now turned because folks made the same remark w/o saying how to try to resolve it or even cared how you would feel. I tried to do both, going on PM. Took a huge risk of trust. I was wrong. Sorry.
Thread in question:

* Keep, omitted word in the PM, added now as I realized the missing word.
** Way to mitigate the viewer attention to the teeth, not the putting down the child herself. I express the hope that this will change as she grows older.

I am going to ask you only once, please do NOT reply to any of my threads, anyone who sends a pm to call into question a 10 year olds looks needs help and YOU have nothing to add to my time here at UHH or my journay as a photographer.

I will NOT reply to any of your threads or posts from here on out, you are not worth my engery or time. You are a sad excuse for a human being.

Stay off my threads as well. I won't be commenting or looking at yours either.
Your statement just made it worse.

I, for one, would miss seeing the faces of your children. Their bright, enthusiastic, full of character faces make me smile and you capture their personalities perfectly. Please do not let the comments of socially inept people keep you from sharing them with us who enjoy looking at them.....

It's not a call, it's a request.

hey you know what was my request? For posters not to make rude remarks about the way my children look... guess we both aren't going to get what we want.

Carioca if you don't like my thread/post you can always back out and not reply. Pretty easy.

MWAC Hey! You are angry with me, keep it that way, no need to lash out at other.

Maybe one day you will understand the PM or maybe not. In the mean time, as said a line above, keep your fury toward me.

Likewise, if you don't like a comment about your child, you can always delete it and not reply. That's easy, isn't it?

Do you practice, or just preach?

When some SOB decides to make a comment on my child I will come out with both guns a blazing, always have, Always will.

offer C&C on my image, I can take it with my big girls panties on. Tell me my child has large teeth and they need to be fixed and make reference to changing her outward appearance because it shows love and I'm going to let the whole board know what an ass wipe you really are.

I would like to say thank you too everyone who has offered support to me with learning about photography, but due to this recent attack on my child I will be leaving the board.

Did I say they needed fixed? I said What can you do to make them less preeminent. Quite a difference.

THAT is about photo itself, not the child.
