Some of us old geezers (not referring to anyone) sometimes had to rely on things we learned as we grew up. We maybe did some things in our childhood that maybe we should not have done. We chose to do things because we knew right from wrong. Everything now has a warning that says, "Do not try this at home!!!". I see a lot of people who "hyjack" photos and then say, "I didn't know there was a rule or where is the rule?. Before you take, use or think you have a right to others things, property or photos, please ask. A suggestion to the newbees is to click on the administration page and look at the rules before you post anything.
Henry,
People who dont have any common sense will likely never bother to open this and see it.
It is a sad state of affairs that our culture has the attention span of a flea. Fleas dont bother to read directions or rules. I have also noticed that people dont have the patience to read through long threads. They read the first one and maybe a few more and skip ten pages to just post their own picture. As in posting pics for a contest that has already been closed.
I just posted a balloon pic which popped up on page 10 and then saw there was another post on page 11 with the same balloon. Maybe you should repost with a title.."ALL NEWBIES PLEASE READ THIS POST" you might have better luck getting their attention.
For some a hammer in the head won't do any good.

This is even more true today. Look at the mess this country and the rest of the world is in.

thank you I can not take credit for it, I believe i heard it from the comedian Richard Klein, or maybe it was Carlin.
Some folks just never think about cause and affect. Hence such warnings as "Do not put fingers in whirling fan blades, serious injury may result". My favorite is on the tablets I use to clean my partials, "Do not put in mouth or rinse mouth with denture cleaner". Now what idiot would think you clean dentures in your mouth?
How about the warning put on an electric hair dryer? "Do not use in the shower"
Perhaps they ought to eliminate these warnings and let Darwinism take over.
I attended a horse show several years ago to find a very peculiar behavior. I had fabricated a large electric hair clipper about 7x actual size as an attraction to the product in the manufacturers show booth. The "display" was electrified so the clipper cutter head would move back and forth immulatiing an actual groomers tool. Although blades were made from wood and could only slightly pinch your finger if you were to actually stick one in between the teeth. No adult was so compelled to do such but most children under about ten were! It was obvious that the sense of fear was not common amongst those who had not experienced the cause and effect of such a dangerous act. Some are born with more sense than others but I don't believe you will find there are any of us that posess all the sense(s).
and what about Common Courtesy. Where did that one go?
"if stupidity was painful, there would be less of it" & "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID" 2 of my favorites
