OK, so I can't seem to get enough of old houses, barns and barn doors....they seem to fascinate me and I long to capture the memories that they hold of days gone by...take these pictures for example, last evening I hiked about a quarter of a mile in tall grass and woods to capture the barn and I waited until almost dark to capture the pics of the old house, and ended up scaring myself in the process then praying that my car would start... but I must say, I had a blast doing it....

I love all these shots. I can't get enough of old and run down, rustic buildings either. They make fantastic backdrops for family shots.

They make fantastic backdrops for old and run-down family, too!

I love to use these for backdrops, weddings, senior portraits, and family shots.
I always felt that shots of old houses and barns seemed to lend themselves to such a wide variety of post processing effects. Besides their inherent artistic value as an "original", they are the most fun to experiment on later. ( for me )
Love the photos. Great job!! Me and my six year old are always taking pictures of old barn and buildings,
