Convert Sony still/video files to edit in adobe

Up against the wall on how to import/convert sony arw and video with adobe photoshop & premiere. HELP!

It depends on which version/flavor of PS you have. With older versions of ACR you may have to convert arw to dng first with Adobe's free converter:

I have photoshop 10 and elements 9. Elements 10 would not load on my computer. Received a error stating my equipment was not compatible with the software when I attempted to load it. I contacted Adobe concerning this problem but received no help. THANKS for you reply.

There are minimum computer requirements needed to run graphic software and as that software gets more sophisticated (some say bloated) those requirements increase. The minimum requirements are listed by the manufacturer.

Older computers running older operating systems are sometimes just not capable of running newer software.
Perhaps it is time for an upgrade. :)

Sony RAW is readable by PSE 9 in ACR. ACR opens automatically when you click on the RAW file.

When i attempt to open files with pse i get "Can not open..... wrong type of file" msg.
