Can any LR3 or CS5 users tell me if there is a way to convert files from RGB to CMYK color space efficiently (in a batch)? My limited knowledge of each program tells me that CMYK is not available in LR3, and CS5 requires that each image be done individually. I have several hundred images I need to convert. Am I in for some late nights?

I know that you can do batch files or droplets in PhotoShop. I did them years ago, but don't remember the steps at this point. I'm sure you could find a video on using these procedures with a search through Adobe TV or You Tube or just Google it. Sorry, I am up to my ears in working 2 jobs & getting ready for Thanksgiving -- hope you have a happy one!
Not sure exactly in those programs, but Photoshop has "Actions" which is a way to record steps used to modify an image, this Action can then be used to batch modify any number of images in one file. Study PS Actions and Batch Actions.

Thank you both, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Just record (and Save) an Action where you convert a file from RGB to CMYK. Then run that Action as a Batch.

Thanks again! And HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!
In PS go File>Automate>Batch There set actions and choose location i.e. the folder full you want, which can not be RAW. Before specifying the folder open it and select all, or highlite just a few. Double click on anyone to open all, then select 'opened files' as source.
Reversal is hard, so you might want to duplicate the folder full first.
This begs, why do you need to convert to CYMK unless going to press.
