These are my first submissions to the group ~ please critique and let me know how these could be improved. I did some PS'ing on the fire one cuz I wanted to eliminate me from the background and just leave my grandson as the subject. But I'm truly a newbie in PS - just got it 2 months ago. Would like to know what I can try to make these pics better. Appreciate all the good suggestions I've been reading. Helps so much in the ongoing learning process. Thanks a bunch!

I by no means have any right to critique anything, but if it were me...on the barn pic, I would get much closer and shoot from a different angle and wait for dusk...
