JDTX, I think all I would do is use a reflector to lighten up the face and enhance the dress. She is a beautiful model.
she is a beautiful model and a really fun person to work with..I have a lot of pics of her thanks for your comments and suggestions all..
Here she is again in a totally different setting
Wish I had such a beautiful model to pose for me. You're lucky to have her. Have fun shooting.

I agree with KathyinNH. I'm here in San Antonio, maybe I'll go click today at the River Walk and come across a beautiful model who feels like posing! :) Thanks for sharing.
Turbo.give me an IM maybe we can go shoot sometime
she is in a Meetup group I belong to along with several other models and photographers..we do all kinds of shoots
jdtx, beautiful model. I just have a same critique. Careful with the left arm, sometimes propping on the arms can make them a little distorted and look bigger than they really are,

Do you all ever shoot on weekends? Sundays are usually best for me. I'd be very interested in partaking in the fun.
Robert

Thanks jdtx for the info. All is appreciated.Maybe you can help me with something. The picture of my daughter-the couples picture-I like the photo, but is it just my eyes or does it seem a bit on the red side-I have this problem with alot of my photos. But if I try editing the color, when it's printed , it looks too light. Camera or monitor or photographer problem?
I agree with the confusion on which photo one is referring to, but it's interesting hearing the comments. Thanks again.
Trish
Thanks jdtx for the info. All is appreciated.Maybe... (

Trish, If I may add, keep it KISS, ( keep it simple stupid) not you of course. Simple, I'm suggesting, learn how to balance flash with day light. You'll get a far better end results, more creativity, mood, sharpness and its fun. You've taken on some difficult situations and done pretty good. Practice makes perfect. Keep it up, it took me a while, then after a while, it all came together.

studio flash only
flash with ambient light
flash with day light
trish you need to check your white balance..if you have photoshop or photoshop elements you can correct it there..if you shoot Raw..if not..then you better either change to raw , or be sure your white balance is set properly..there are many products to aid you in this..expo disc, the target on Photo Vision..and many others....good luck
