Do you read photographer Mags if so ...what mag do you pick
up every month
I have several Mags. from the old days anyone remember Petersens, Wedding, Freelance, Modeling, and Macro, Potrait, these are from the Mid 70s, but are fine magazines.
A friend gave me three years of past Outdoor Photography, and then a gift subscription so I can stay up to date, its a very good magazine if you like landscape photography

OP and AH are the only two I regularly get. (AH = Arizona Highways, of course)
I think Shutterbug and Outdoor Photography are the two that I get he most information from.

Hi I'm new here, and thought I would throw in my 2c on this question. =) Especially since my photography magazine purchases make my credit card cry every time I get close to the Barnes and Noble parking lot. =)
My 2 absolute must have mags that I make a special trip each month to the big city for are both UK publications...Photography for Beginners and Outdoor Photography. If I walk out with nothing else, those 2 are guaranteed to be in my hot little hands.
Jewell =)
I subscribe to both Outdoor Photographer and Popular Photography. Backpacker, while not a photo magazine per say, does make me want to get out there and shoot, and shows me where to go to do that.
I do pick up an occasional Peterson's Photographic and last month got an outstanding Essential Guide to Outdoor Photography and a PS Elements Made Easy(both UK publications) at the book store. I have several photography books too, but that is another topic.
For some reason the Brits do a bang up job on photo mags.

They do, don't they? Before the Borders across the river in Delaware closed last month, I could spend $40 on a couple of fancy limey mags without even blinking an eye.
I am a NAPP member and receive Photoshop User, 10 issues. It usually has great how to articles on how to use Photoshop and Lightroom. I purchase Shutterbug depending on what articles might be in the magazine each month. I subscribe to Sports Illustrated to see the shots that the pros take and publish in that magazine. I shoot sporting events so it is nice to look at what the pros are able to publish. I look at the other monthly photography mags on the stand Popular Photography etc. and thumb thru them to see if there is a review or article I want read.
