I would appreciate any critiques of my photography. I am always looking for ways to improve. I've been trying to come up with a name for my photography if you have any suggestions.

I think your images are beautiful. With the flower I would try to shoot at a samller F-stop like about F22 if you are able to adjust your camera. Overall the images are great. I love especially the picture of the humming bird.

How did you get such a great picture of the hummingbird? I have hummingbirds coming to a feeder that is about a foot from my window and I am using a Canon Powershot Sx10 is. All of your pictures are wonderful...but I am a bird lover and the Hummingbird is fantastic!

Thanks so much Ronald and Daisy! Daisy the only way I was able to capture this little guy was to keep trying. My husband said I "harrassed" them so much with my camera they were all going to pack their bags and go home ;-)

Nice picture of hummingbird, however I'll ask even though I probably already know the answer. Did you photoshop the background?

amhermanii, actually no I didn't photoshop the background. I adjusted the sharpness a bit, however.

Ugly Jake, I adjusted the exposure a little, the highlights, the contrast and definition but that's it! That's enough, huh? Thanks!!

Great photos. Love the lake, the clouds, the colors and the reflection of the sun on the water, wonderful.

Born and raised in NC and being a mountainlover at that...I would have to say I just love the mountain pic. I also really love the lake pic too. Great job :)
