I just love the first one! The others are good too..but I mean it, the coloring is beautiful. Maybe as an additional pic, you can clean out the wires. But either or, it's beautiful. Great shot!

These are great! I like the first one as well, it's stunning. But the last one is my favorite. All of the colors really draw me in.

Nice pics, did the colour come from all your brush fires?

Luv the last one!

I agree on the wires comment.

Pink Sun, no I don't think so. Was there a filter involved with this one, or PhotoShop?

Just the opinion of ONE! The only one that counts is yours of course.

LOL...Actually, the "pink sun" depicted the most accurate color of the sun that day. No post processing on any of the pictures. The sun was even a brighter red earlier in the morn. I would lose the red/pink and yellow would begin to take over when trying to lighten the background or include more background in pre-exposure. I will say, that on the 3rd picture the actual lighting was much brighter than what is depicted but that was the cameras doing depending on my target with metering at "point"

Clyde,
I would have to agree with you. The sun has been the biggest and most brilliant red I've ever seen. Not sure if it's normal for this type of year. But then again, I've only started taking sunrise pictures this year.

I always have issues with electrical wires, don't think they belong in photos unless they are the subject. The second photo is really very cool, love the cloud in the sun, very good. If my photo I would crop it just to take out the "stuff" in the foreground of the photo. I really like the last photo and even though the sun reflection goes to the bottom of the photo, I might crop it some just to see how it looks.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot (no pun intended). On the wires...the majority seems to want the wires removed. I personally like them there. To me, it adds an urban feel to the pic along with the jogger but thats me. Majority wins. I was never really one to alter pictures...nothing wrong with it...just not really me.

If you guys noticed...the further I zoomed out the more i lost the beautiful reds of the sun. I can get it back by setting metering at "point" and targeting the sun directly but the entire picture darkens and I lose the entire background to black. The contrast is hard for my camera to handle. HDR lightens the background but sun is yellowish/orange and can't adjust metering to point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
