About three weeks ago the local camera club to which I belong extended an invitation to UHH members to join in our monthly photo context, this month is November 16th. The contest theme was "A Feeling Of Warmth", or "Warm Things". However, three week ago I failed to comprehend that New Topic strings are usually short-lived on the UHH. After about a week, with only seven entries, people moved on to more interesting and exciting topics. Quite understandable. However, in keeping to my word, I'm still going to submit these seven entries for judging by our panel of around 20 members. The results will be shown and posted in this string Thursday, November 17th. The following UHH members submitted entries: "Janice", "Kateyface", "mmlrml", "Silvertone", Tilde", "TracyG" and "Ugly Jake"

So if I want to enter this contest I have to put something in tonight? I just registered and this is my first anything on the site. i haven't even explored it yet and am just a bit confused about the due date
Yes, Starz, if you want to enter this contest (tonight) just post something that you feel expresses "A feeling of Warmth". And as you can see that can be a wide range of things. I'll print your entry in the morning and have it ready for tomorrow night's meeting which begins at 6:30 pm. Just click on "Reply" and "Coose File" and "Send", along with a note so I'll know who you are. And thanks for be part of this UHH site. We're all sort of new here, and we have a lot of fun.

No fair...I have a sneaky feeling that there's some professional photographers among us...
1. There is something I like very much about this photo but I know it is grainy...which may be why I like it but dont bother if you dont like it since you have so many nice ones up there already.
2. Yellow is a warm color...what do you think?
In other words...you know your group...so dont waste your paper if you no likey.
Thank you, Swamp Gator. Your "Great Blue Heron in a June Sunset" is copied off to the contest folder on the jump drive. Still plenty of time... say until noon tomorrow? for anyone else who wants to enter.

Thank you, Rivernan, I went with the warmth of the family dinner. I'd say that is perfect for the theme. However, there are 20+ judges, and no one knows what will happen. They're very experienced, though, because we've been judging our own photo contests for several years.

Rivernan... I clicked on your blog and was really impressed with the photos posted there. Did you take all these photos? If so, most of them are very well composed. Very impressive.

WHOA! Now THAT's definitely a feeling of warmth, coquitlam! No question about it. It's added to the contest. Good luck, and thanks for entering.
