No 1 is a great image with the incredible light featuring from the rocks in the foreground then receding back through the wood to infinity. Brilliant photograph Bruce. ---- 2 & 3 not so good

Appreciate your time and comment.
That said to critique an image it is helpful to know the intent of the shot.
Image 2 and 3 met the criteria.
The 3rd shot, Orton effect was created for a specific customer with a specific goal, she loved the shot, thus the shot worked.
Image 2 is in form the same the same as image 2, save for the location of the sun. Jackson falls runs east west, Shot 2 runs north south in heavy woodlands.
This shot was meant to display the various little "baby" falls and features. Frankly it serves the purpose.

In almost all cases, water is not blue. Longer exposures of moving water tend to have this color shift.
