:D i like it it shows pattern and lines with the nails as well as texture with the wood. I being a close up and details nut would have taken the shoot from the top down or close uo on a couple nails with detail in the wood. But then what do i know I like lime jello with carrot shavings inside.

I very much like the angle you took this at. The texture and colors are quite appealing and I like the soft focus in the background.

actualy i'm showing my age or maybe its a michigan thing. in the 70's when dinosaurs like me roamed the earth, no self respecting salad bar or buffet would be without lime jello with carrots or candied apples. dont knock em they were actual good.

It is an interesting shot, and well taken, but I'm not sure where to focus. The angle leads you down the photo and then out of it; not to any point of interest. There is a very light point at the top that my eye is drawn to, but I don't think that was your intention. I always like your shots, but this one not as much as your others.

Hi, I would pick a favorite nail and close up on it letting the others get out of focus while trying to let the texture on the wood still show. ...:) want to try?

Just thought of this. That shot would probably work better ias a vertical instead of horizontal.

I like the rust of the nails matching the rust on the woods. It looks like an old dock or piece from a barn. Where is it from?

This is really a neat picture, in my opinion. I suspect these are roofing nails from which the shakes have pulled away from the sub-strate material. I think I also see some felt paper along the left border and remaining shakes along the top. No shadows, however. Softening or cropping out the bright spot at the top mightg help. It was somewhat distractiing to me, but I like the image a lot.

This is an interesting photo...but all I can think of is...when you flip your mattress..someone must have flipped their bed of nails. I too would have focused on one nail and softened the focus on the others at a very close field. There is art in everything really!

This shot was from an old barn that was ready to fall down, luckly I captured this before it did.I went back to the site about a week later but........no more barn,it had fallen in on itself. Thanks so much for the feed back.
