First bird shots with a new lens 03/08/13

Just got this late yesterday....Nikon 200mm F4 macro lens. So this afternoon took it out and watched Mr Cardinal prance about before all the snow melts. I think If I practice some more I'll be ready by the time the bugs start showing up...lol

The eyes and beak on #2 - wowswer! Was that cropped at all?

Thank you. Oh yes 2 has some crop....switched up from my other lens and tc....200mm doesn't have as much reach...but let me tell ya....this lens is WOW clear...amazing.
