Love that photo so much! Just the right color background with the rest in b&w, the pose is very effective.

wow first picture I have seen in along time that showed human emotion great job reminds me of a Diane Arbus type photo and that is a compliment any photo that can keep my attention for more than five secounds now days is a acomplishment ( over look the spelling I am a better photographer than writer well in some opinions)

Inspires overwhelming empathy in me... like, I wanna give you a big hug (and offer you a refill!)...maybe sit with ya for a while.
The black and white against a brighter blue background outside the window adds more emotion to the effect. (Honestly, it makes me feel like "she" is depressed/down)
