About user:
Occupaion: unemployed Interests: dslr photography, walking, roller blading, hanging out with people, swimming, vids, camping, dogs, dreams, astronomy, science, spirits, mountain biking, skiing, rivers, lakes, oceans, nature, wild things, music Biography: When I was married, my then now ex wife purchased a Nikon D60 and I (mainly) used it by pointing and focusing and then clicking all in the auto mode for the first 3 years. This method is fine, until I attempted to capture the Moon and failed miserably time after time to get great detail like my ol internet friend JS at newsvine, so I purchased a book for my camera "Nikon D60 for Dummies" and read about all the functions my camera offered. Well not all just the ones , that enabled me to capture the Moon. Since then I have never gone back to Auto mode unless I am inside and need the flash. I have missed many image capturing opportunities because the D60 was set up wrong and failed to change it back in time, but I have also captured many cool images that would have other wise been impossible. Controlling the light intake also allows me to be very creative and in control so I like that aspect as well. I feel that my best images are in front of me. Photography is also a great incentive to get out of bed early for awesome Sunrise captures. Website:
