Occupaion: Mechanical Engineer - retired Interests: Photograph and writing Biography: I’ve spent most of my life in the southern Arizona desert where I’m now retired from a career in mechanical engineering. The loves of my life are my wife, my children, my grandchildren and my cameras, not always in that order.

In retirement, I’ve achieved some recognition as a landscape and wildlife photographer. I started taking pictures when I was given my first camera, a Kodak Baby Brownie, for Christmas at age eight. I still have the camera and I think it still works though I haven’t used it in a long time. I don’t know if 126 film is still available. I currently use a Sony A350 and an A55 I really like.

I also enjoy writing, mostly science fiction and some poetry. My sci-fi endeavors are based on a life-long interest in time travel and the origins of human kind. My poetry is simply about whatever has my interest at the moment.
