Rove beetles sometimes congregate in a flower; don't know if it's a mating lek or just visiting or perhaps even feeding on the pollen? On a few of them I clearly(?) see the truncated wing-covers. Plus a fly and one other thing, a midge???

I will have to get a closer picture.

I can't identify them either. You suggested the flower closed with them in it. If so, could be they pollinate the flower.

Maybe. They sure are pretty. I grew it from a seed never expecting it to grow as big as it did, halfway up the pole.

This was taken in afternoon when the moon flowers start to open. I found an article talking about bugs called Thrip and it describes it. Seems like Missouri is overrun with some tiny black bugs that bite and causes itching. Maybe this is what people are finding in their areas. Soon it will be freezing weather and that should eliminate them.

I have a moon flower growing up a street light pole in my yard but there are little black bugs all over the flowers and I can’t identify them. Any ideas? In Missouri.

Meet Kevin. My 19 yr old granddaughter Kiersten rescued this kitten this morning at a local store when people were hearing sounds coming from underneath a car hood. Kiersten crawled under the car and pulled him from the motor. She took him to the vet and he has upper respiratory infection and eye infection but is at his new home resting with Kiersten and looks much better with all the motor dirt off him. First photo is after he was pulled out of the motor. The last two are of him two days later. She has wanted an orange cat and was wearing a shirt that says Cat Mom at the time so says it was meant for her to rescue it. Good rescue job Kiersten!

First time ever, I got the chance to shoot the babies of blue herons. As you will see, babies are pretty big. Thanks.

Great capture Alma. Joey is going to college soon, so he is going to have to find another place.

He is hanging in that pouch as long as mama lets him.

Very interesting shot. Is that a Wallaby and where was the picture taken?

This was taken at a wildlife safari in Alamo, Tennessee. I don’t know if it is a Wallaby. I just call it a white Kangaroo....lol

That is an amazing, one of a kind photo! Awesome, I think!

I thought it was a sweet moment and excited I got the moment on the camera. I just love it. So many feelings looking at it that takes your mind off covid stuff.

I think his mama is an enabler and may carry this big baby till her pocket won't stretch anymore even though it is apparently causing her to have headaches.... I love this picture. Look how smug he looks lying in that hammock just chilling.
