I will always remember the story, "The night before Christmas", I heard as a kid and read to my son and will read to my great grandchildren, but the images I have in my head are mine and can't be shared. Wouldn't it be nice if we (UHH) could find those images we each carry in our heads in pictures. I live in the desert so Raindeer on the roof with snow is not going to happen. But how about we (UHH) try to find some of those images in pictures before the season is over. If you find it after the season save for next year.
HO HO HO Merry Christmas to All and to All a Goodnight!
To reply to (halraiser): It's easy to get many shots in one minute with a digital camera, but I want to experience the photo, and see if I can capture it in a new way with old film. WHY NOT!!!
PS: You should look into your old camera and see what is exciting about film photography and go back to the old ways now and then. Some times its refreshing to take a step back. Wish you good photo hunting.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
The film is ISO 400 And color. I found an article that said to drop the ISO setting one stop per decade old. I'll try it.
What do you mean when you say abstracts?
Room temp. But maybe I'll try them and experiment.
I just found two rolls of 35 mm film with a develop before 06/2000 date on them. They're still sealed as when bought. Are they any good?
Happy Thanksgiving All!!!
the flash unit was corroded throughout, the battery door would not open. it's trashed.
I'm retired and 68 years of age. I have a Fujica AX-3 film camera I bought in 1971 in Japan and want to start taking pictures again. I have a 2.8 f=135 mm lens and a 1.9 f=50 mm lens that came with camera. Bummer though I left the battries in my flash unit for forty years, looking for a new one that works with my camera, that won't empty my bank. Looking forward to start taking pictures.
