Carry a 1911 and a cell phone.
Gotta love that! My license plates 1911GAL!
But, I like the idea of a photo club or pal to go with, enjoy your time out with a friend.
Oh I love the detail, especially in the wings. Very nice!
Awsome! Love the baby fox.

Foxes are beautiful critters. We have grey foxes here and had a family raised here last year. There is a down side if you keep chickens, which we do. I went to extra effort to string electric wire around the chicken yard and so far the foxes have avoided it. It sometimes takes an extra effort to avoid conflicts with our furry brethren, but I think it is worthwhile. A camera is all I want to use to shoot the local wildlife.
Yes, I agree! Love seeing them in life.
Circle of life.. poor squirrell...

Ok. Couple more from this morning. Good sunshine so was able to get these 2 of the momma and heavily cropped from 600mm shot.
Pups were from a 70-200mm and 60% cropped shot through bushes. My wife took that one. There is hope she will yet get the photography virus...

It is such a joy to open my email to find more pictures of your fox family. Keep up the good work and keep on sharing, many are enjoying your view!
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the feedback on your Sigma lens. I have been thinking about getting either a Sigma or Tamron. Your cropped photo's are so nice and from inside the house!
Stunning color and detail. I just love them. We used to have a gray fox that lived out in the woods close to us. Became fairly tame. And like you, we watched her bring her kits out to play. Then one year, we believe her mate was run over. Shortly after that she moved away, I guess, in search of another mate. I surely do miss seeing her face everyday to feed her. Never have seen a red fox around here (Arkansas), but, I believe they do live here.

Thanks, Sheila, for your visit and comment, I love my furbabies and it is hard when they pass.... I had tears reading about how you found your new family member... people are horrible and should be tortured the way they treat animals... but thankfully she found you!!! Happy ending!! thank you for sharing!
Aww, love to hear from fellow animal lovers. Seems a bunch are here and share loads of pictures. I love them all. Here is a couple pictures of our new dog. We aptly named her Lucky after everyone kept saying she is a Lucky Girl!
Im still making friends with my camera, I have a long way to go. And Lucky is black and white, the bane of my very basic skills.
Lovely and so lucky to have these beautiful creatures to observe. Thanks for sharing.
That's funny. Solid white and different colored eyes, very distincitive!!!
Lovely portraits of your kitties! Awesome detail in the fur and love the backgrounds!!!
Like you, I had 4, down to two... and now a dog someone put out in horrible weather. She ended up on my porch, soaked, freezing in the rain and starving.... breaks my heart. I brought her in, bathed her, fed her. Then the next day we went to the vet and started shots and worming. Spayed the next week. And now she is a different dog!!! So sweet.

Shoot a few shots. If you don't see the dust in the test shots, don't worry about it. I've seen dust in my view finder but never in my prints. It may be on the mirror or elsewhere and not bother anything but you. Good luck !
Unfortunately, it does show on prints and pics on the internet.

These have way too much "zoom & crop" to be well taken photos - I just like them for their fun factor and thought I would share them.
