What standards are you referring to? Many of them change with the phase of the moon.

I got this to load.
Sorry about the quality, not my area of expertise, if I have one :)

Quality was good enough to see what I was looking for. I somehow thought that each pai of gears turned in opposite direction from each other. Still very interesting.

If we can just get rid of the face diapers! Every medical office I go to requires that you wear one, even though they are vaccinated and I’m vaccinated. Why? I’m beginning to think that you will need one from now on to go to a doctor.

I made a crude video of the gears moving but UHH crashes every time I try to upload it.
I've never tried to upload an MP$ before do I don't know what the deal is.

Don’t worry about it. It was just to satisfy my curiosity.

My English friend doesn’t use “the”.

She says, “I’m going to University.” Instead of “I’m going to The University.”

She also says hospital instead of the hospital. I’ve noticed most Brits on TV and in the movies do the same thing.

I don't really know what "close up" is so I don't know if this fits or not.
This is a 3D print form about 20 years ago when 3D printers cos around $100,000.
I got it at a show back when I was a designer.
For those interested, this was printed as a single piece and all of the gears turn.
11 slices at 2mm per slice.

I would love to see a video of it in motion.

Maker is simply the manufacturer that created the end product. Canon would be the maker and the 90D their merch. I work with a group of millennials so I’m exposed to it daily. It’s almost like we are from different planets.

Kelbyone teaches the updates, you of course have to have a subscription. On the free side, Photoshop Cafe posted the latest updates on YouTube in a live session. I’m not sure if that was a first for them, but I got the impression that it was not.

I appreciate your perspective. I have traveled with a 17" laptop and it is too big. Traveling with an external monitor does not work. It is a compromise. I do keep my laptops all color calibrated and over the years have been successful in producing top quality underwater images with a wide variety of laptops, including Dell XPS.

While I really like the MS Surface Pros, thee AI creative software really stresses them. LT-Timelapse can take over an hour to render a video from 1500 frames. My Puget Systems does it in < 10 minutes.

I missed the part about traveling. I actually meant the Alienware 15 should have the same hardware as the 17, which performs well. Compare the two to be sure.

Wikipedia has a page for every unique camera model. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikon_Coolpix_P1000

It only seems to be missing the 5.6x crop factor.

You can edit Wikipedia and add the 5.6x crop factor. That’s both the beauty and the curse of Wikipedia. Anyone can edit, so the information should be taken with a grain of salt until confirmed from a reliable source.

I am looking at the Razer Blade 15 or the Alienware 15. Msi maybe but not likely. My budget is about $6k, USD.

For $6K you could buy three computers that have the power you want.

I have the Alienware 17, which I use mainly for Lightroom/Photoshop. It is more than adequate. I use external matching Dell UHQ 25” monitors. I don’t trust a laptop screen for image processing. The price of the Alienware, two monitors and a monitor calibration device should leave you plenty of money to buy some extra lenses.
