North American and International camcorders use a different spec. International is P.A.L. and US spec is called something else. The issue may be related to that. And this difference is why it is important to avoid most grey market camcorders.

White with a dark blue strip down the middle is the official USA international auto racing color. Solid red is Italy, solid blue is France, solid green is England, etc. These were assigned ages ago by the international racing association.
But US manufacturers did not always use our assigned colors. Still, it is strange to see a Ferrari in the US colors.

In my opinion, the greatest victory in any automobile race was Alfa's in a 1930's French Grand Prix. Don't recall the year, if early Enzo was a driver, if later he was team manager. Anyway, the Alfas were running first, second and third and getting booed by the French spectators all the way. So the team manager ordered food, and when it arrived had the cars pull off the track. The drivers ate a multi-course meal at a table set with tablecloth, napkins, etc. and then got back into their cars. And they still finished first, second and third. One of the old sports car mags, I think it was Sports Cars Illustrated, had a great article on it.

black mamba wrote "prior to the advent of the Ferrari period, Alfa Romeo ..." And the guy who ran the Alfa racing program back then was? ... you guessed it, Enzo Ferrari.

Gaham Wilson had a great cartoon. An elephant was sitting at a piano with its piano teacher to the side. The teacher said "Just slam you feet three times right about there. That's Louie, Louie."

The well seems so small that the motor would never be run lower onto the water and due to this and it's central location the motor would not be used to steer.. There is probably a rudder further back.

Definitely NOT #4. Too ornate and would be hard to read when smaller on cornet of a print, etc. #3 is not as bad but, to some extent, does share the problem. Between #1 and #2: #1 is easiest to read, but #2 looks less like many. many other logos. What you want is is a design that attracts attention, quickly conveys what it refers to (easy to read is part of this). If you are going to specialize in wildlife photography and the word "wildlife" to #1 or #2. If you are not limiting yourself to this don't use the word. And if you use #2 make the camera outline more obvious, more like #1. The outline in #2 is obvious to those in this forum, but it won't be to the general public. Then again, if you are not using the logo commercially, who cares? This is based on my having spent many years in new product marketing.

You mentioned shooting birds in flight. For you the "fast" issue would be shutter speed so you can avoid blur which, if its not too great, might merely look like soft focus. To avoid blurring means that when you shoot birds in flight you want a faster lens. As you would most likely be using a telephoto, an f/2.8 may be the fastest you could get.

I'd go Sony 16500 or m4/3 rather than Sony RX10iv. I have all three and, at 86 yrs old, am only keeping the RX10iv for future if I get too frail to carry the others. Of the a600 series, the 6500 has stabilization, so I strongly recommend it over the others. There are also a lot of wonderful, and lighter still, m4/3 options. Which I use depends on what I'm shooting the Sony for travel and an Olympus EM-1iii with vertical battery grip for sports. With fast sports-oriented lenses the m4/3 is the heavier rig than the Sony with slower lenses. It's all in the trade-offs.

The least prepared wedding photographer I ever encountered was the one who borrowed my camera to do his shooting. He had sold his gear to buy airfare to relocate and assumed/hoped he could borrow a camera at the site.

Avanti was so far ahead of its time and influence everything we drive today. First with disc brakes, impact absorbing dash, etc. And fabulous styling and handled like a sports car. I had an Avanti and a Jaguar XKE and handling was surprising similar allowing for differences inherent in a lower two-seater and a four place sedan.

I remember Alter Ego and am glad to know it still exists. It was a very successful racer driven by Fred Sayers (I'm unsure of the spelling of his last name).

Everyone has a bias: here's mine. For wildlife you will probably want a camera with fast response for autofocus and shutter. A system oriented towards sports and action was my choice. I have two systems, OM-1 with a fast lens for lighter weight and convenience (mostly for sports) and Sony a9 to get the wider angles offered by some full-frame lenses (mostly for landscapes). Both of these cameras are very highly rated for sports/action so I sometimes use the Sony for some sports. As you probably guessed, the lenses I have for each have different focal lengths, OM longer, Sony wider. I also generally use the OM for general, everyday photography, again for less weight and bulk. Don't take my bias or anyone else's as your final answer but maybe consider it in your personal equation.
