I shoot RAW and Jpg for events. Events may want quick pics for things so the jpg is readyish to deliver and the RAW gives you more leeway to tweak lighting in a fast changing environment.

My pic is from 1969/1970. The 58 chevy in the background was the car my dad bought repo'd from the bank. He paid $200 for a mothers day gift. I am in the blue coat and it became my first car when I turned 16. If you go 70 on a dirt road you can get them on two wheels.

Who or what is your shot for? Sharpness gets focused (pun intended) on a lot, but the main thing is as long as the lack of sharpness doesn't detract from your images message it doesn't matter. I use primes as a portrait photographer because detail around the eyes shows character. I use zoom on kids playing because they don't hold still.

It does have dual card slots. It may be the cards not the slots just some times it doesn't recognize the card but if I add that slight tape to make the card thicker it works every time. I'm not sure about the us model. I bought it used before the pandemic took a bite out of wedding photography.

I bought a Z6 with the intent of using the D750 as a back up, but because I do people photography I prefer the focus system on the Z6 and haven't used the D750 much. Still a great camera, especially landscape and such. One slight problem is that the sd slot is finicky. The work around I use is the tape on the sd card and it works entirely fine then. So I shot an Alice in Wonderland shoot and thought lets try the Generative Fill to add some steam coming out of a teacup. Selected an area, typed steam and all of a sudden there is a video console above the cup. (A Steam Deck is a type of video game console.) So retried typing vapor and it worked really well. I found this funny.

It all depends on the photography you do. I got a Z6 under $1000 because everyone upgraded to Z6II and above. The images are roughly the same as my D750. The differences are the ibis for me as I use a Sigma 105mm F 1.4 a lot. With it I was able to lower my shutter to 1/6 to get a shot of a drummers clear face but with a great motion blur on his hands. Don't upgrade to upgrade. Upgrade to do something you couldn't in the past. If your particular photography doesn't warrant it then don't upgrade.

I was a third shooter at my daughters wedding and always shoot in raw. Even slot II is duplicate in Raw. My camera was unattended at times during setup and somewhere between decorating tables and before the first look and formal shots my cards went from Raw to jpg. Is there any way of switching without going into the menu? Was it a semi sabotage from a photographer "friend"? Has this happened to anyone else?

Had a 58 Biscayne in High School (1980's) and used to go side by side with Sonny's 58 Impala on the main drag on a Saturday night. For those that aren't aware if you look closely at the great pic of the rear end you will see the small panel on the left is a hidden door where you put the gas in.

You don't know where to look at first so your eyes dart around the picture. Doing that it really brings out the hectic life of a city. The more I look the more I like it. Not a portrait but a scene with a story. Is the foreground crowd waiting for a traffic light or for the people on the bus?

Currently at work I use a Hiti 525L printer to print 4x6 retinal photos. There has been a back order for media for this for months. Does anyone have suggestions for a 4x6 photo printer to replace it? The pics are stored in the patient file after the eye doctor has looked at them so would like a lasting print as the patients only come by every year or two for exams.
