Mike, I love your photos and wish I were getting out to see the things you are. Thanks for your little visual trips. You are hitting my special places. Thank you for "taking me back there ." Luen
What are these carpets made of? Flowers? They are fantastic!!
Thanks Mike, for "taking me back" to Horseshoe bend. I don't expect to be doing it in person again. Luen
In the spring of 1945 I was driving from McAllen, Texas to Pampa, Texas, following my husband who was in the Air Force. Somewhere along that road passing through a little town (I don't remember where) there was, right in the middle of the main street, a statue of Popeye. I asked someone about that and was told that this was a spinanch-growing area, but sales were not going well until someone suggested that Popeye eat spinach. When Popeye started eating spinach so did a lot of people--and that saved the town!
Thank you, Jederick! I'm a borne and bred Utahn, but you have surely shown me places I have not seen and never will. I enjoy your excursions. Thank you. Luen
I had peripheral neuropathy(numbness) in my feet and up to my knees and also in my hands. I could not close my right hand for pain. Then someone told me to drink a glass of water with one tablespoon full of apple cider vinegar every morning. IT WORKS!!! I now have no pain in my hands and only a slight tinge of numbness in my feet sometimes. My 75 year old son also takes it and is very happy with the results.

Great shots, Mike. I enjoy your photos. Luen
Thanks for the photos, Pete. This is a place I learned about too late in life to have any hope of ever getting to see in person.
Cindy, I really enjoy all your postings, but this one is special. It has been several years since my last trip to Toroweep. I'm sure you looked off down the canyon in the opposite direction, too, but did you see the huge rapid of Lava Falls down there? You did if you knew what you were seeing. But from 2,000 feet up, it is not as impressive as it was going over it in a rubber raft. Thanks again for "taking" me back to Toroweep. I'm sure my chances to ever get there again are nil.
Is that the Wooden Shoe Arch back there on the skyline in #3? I wish I had seen your photos away back before I was shooting mine in that area. I do enjoy you "taking me back." Thank you.
All I can say is "Wow"! You have seen a lot more of my state than I have and I appreciate you showing it to me in vivid color!
WOW, Mike! And to think that I could see those very same clouds if I'd just get up earlier!!
