Sounds like a fun challenge that would certainly emphasize the artistic talent, eye or skills of the photographer over lucky shots with very expensive equipment - - -

Oh Paul, true art here the best image I've seen so far. Technically far and above anything I'm capable of but as a newby I'm viewing through before downloading my shots taken as reference for my large, realist paintings - - -

I have found a section where it's been stated that there is provision for us to show nude photography that may be observed only when specifically requested to be seen in order to respect the sensitivity of members who prefer not to view what they may consider to be indecent or embarrassing to them - but I haven't been able to find where I might click on or open up the downloading mechanics. Would you kindly help a new 84 year old fumbling member to this most enjoyable and informative site navigate properly ? Thank you in advance for your consideration - - - GEORGE posted as georjussen

OOPS - sorry folks, being a newby on this wonderful site, I thought I'd failed to send my remarks successfully and as you see did it all over again - but to rationalize my goof - that level of beauty deserves multiple praise - SO THERE !

The entire set of four photos have the imprint of an experienced professional but I too found the third, a magnificent sunset, the ever varying event we have been blessed occasionally to observe, has been captured with heart and skill - raising photography from mere recording to pure art - - -

Simply a big WOW!

The entire set of 4 are of a superior professional quality, and I agree with the observations made that the third photo (sunrise) is pure art - - -

Hi lamiaceae, 'ACME' is a chain of supermarkets I shopped in while living in Northwestern New Jersey - similar to the 'PUBLIX' chain down here in South Eastern Florida.

Hi fosgood, great shot of this seedy gobbler. I understand little about birds but I remember my mom declaring war on the blue seedy gobblers who dominated her feeders and aggressively drove off all other competition - - -

Hi Alfred, My alma mater had several less expensive RollieCords (which I loved using) for use as campus photographers along with 2 - 4 X 5 Speed Graphics and an 8 X 10 Air Force enlarger in the darkroom. My first wedding as a complete amateur was with a much cheaper TLR, a Jap copy that the groom, a fellow employee of Kenro, a Photocopy manufacturer - who had a serious mental problem with handling strangers at his wedding ( or anywhere ) said he would rather take his risk using me. That was the start of a very successful part time business for me in my younger days - - -
