Also, even with your current tripod or the new one, remember to turn off the VR function of the camera if you are shooting from a tripod.

I’m not the best at identifying animal species, but I downloaded an app called “iNaturalist”; it is a pretty neat app that pulls and feeds to a database used to track species and their plants populations. Yo have to upload a picture of the animal and tell the app where you found the animal.
I don’t know what birds are those but let me suggest an app called “iNaturalist”. It is a pretty good app that connects to a data base to help ID any animal
I good tool to know where the moon is going to be located on the sky at the time of the eclipse is an app called “PhotoPills”.
