My point is lightroom doesn't read the lens automatically, I have to go in and find it. yes, 500 4f L is a good one.

Yes shooting raw, when I click the button nothing happens, I must find Canon in the menu of mfgs. click on Canon then find the lens in the lens menu click on that, then it works. All my other lenses work as lightroom reads the lens automatically and applies the correction. Thought maybe one of you guys had an easy answer. thanks

Lightroom question or maybe lens question
Lightroom has a lens profile correction button. My lens is a 500mm 4f Canon which is clearly exhibited in the long list of lenses that can be corrected, even if I add an extender. My problem is when I apply this button nothing happens. I have to go to the list of Mfg. in my case Canon, add that, then find the lens and add that, then it works. All 7 of my other lens work automatically. My question is: is it the lens or is it something I can fix in lightroom. I can't seem to find the answer on the internet. Thanks

Camera Straps
Peck Design is a great strap, but do not leave it in the sun for long periods of time. The sticky stuff that keeps it from sliding off your shoulder melts and ruined two shits. Peck Design did send me a new strap but be warned
