I recently retired and my goal is to "save" money by giving photos as gifts. (Realistic) Maybe someone will see my work hanging in an office, restaurant, or something, and ask them where it came from. (Dream)
The inner harbor is a nice place but think you can cover most of it in a day with the exception of all the restraurants. I will be heading that way in late April myself but getting out of town and visiting the Blackwater wildlife refuge for birding.
thank you Leica and Lamiacea. The shooting conditions were as you described! I shoot mostly wildlife and was trying to get in on the cheap with the Tokina. Learning and was able to correct it some with Adobe. Thanks again. Tom
When I zoomed in on this print to view small portions a purple cast was very evident. The biggest areas are the tree fronds and then any area that has the sky for the back round. Thanks for any assistance. Tom
Took a trip to Charleston for anniversary and only brought the G7 x mark 11. Happy with that decision.. If I am going out to shoot my usual wildlife then have my 7D, the 100-400 with a tele convertor but leave the wide angle at home as the G7 is smaller and lighter then the lens and don't have to change.
Only did an afternoon at Corkscrew but did get a fair variety. The usual suspects, palm and pine warblers, painted buntings, many in the heron family. Anhingas with chicks, and a yellow crowned with a babe. Have a 7D mark 2, the original 100-400, and just added the 1.4 convertor. Shooting hand held, learning.
