Art was a great player! I used to get jazzonthetube but let it lapse. I'll have to re-visit. Jazz wax articles to my inbox are a treat!

I have better photos. Just grabbed those in a hurry. I'm pretty sure these were taken from Illahee State Park, Bremerton.
Just a few quick shots from shore.
Very nice! The last photo is a black-bellied plover.
Red-shouldered hawk I believe. Beautiful bird!
You don't need the rubber hoods. Close to the glass is good enough.
Very nice! An external flash set on the top glass works well. And as Grandpaw said, close to the glass as possible to eliminate reflections. And of course, clean glass. :) Do you have a group of Clown Loaches?
Nice photo. We've had a few take up residence here in NW Washington the past few years.
A fortunate encounter & great shots. Surprising that those Golden Eyes let the Coyote get that near!
Nice shots! Blue Jays are very uncommon West of the Rockies. I lived in NW Montana for 20 yrs and never saw one. They've been showing up here in Western Washington also the past few years.
House finches. Curved mandible, tail not notched. Purple males usually have more color down the back but color is not a reliable feature alone.
