Yes I googled it and I had the speedlite on ETTL. The preflash was tripping the studio lights and then when the shutter opened the studio flashes had not yet recharged.

I put the speedlite on the hotshoe set to Manual and that solved the problem.

I knew it was something stupid. I've never tried to use a speedlite before. I always used a pocket wizard.

Thanks Thomas and all!!

I’m trying to shoot some stuff for eBay.

My umbrella lights are 3 ft from my subject in full power using Novartron M500 mono lights on full power, range high, tripping with a speedlite on my hot shoe and the slaves are on.

But I have to shoot at f5 shutter speed. 1 1/25 sec ISO Hi 1, which is the next step above 6400 in my Canon 5D MarkII. and I still have to brighten them in lightroom.

I’m doing something stupid or I’m losing my mind. Or both.

I have the 1st and 3rd edition of these books that are only useful to those who have a long outdated version of Photoshop that you are still using. Like version 6.0

After I mail l them I will ask you to hit my paypal or cashapp for whatever the shipping ends up being.

So I ship them first and then ask you to pay the shipping after they arrive.

I have no use for these since I have a subscription.

These are classic books intended for learning how to restore old photos.

The newest edition is the 4th edition. I highly recommend these books for restoration.

First come first served!!

Those are absolutely stunning! I live about a mile away. I would like to add one I took if it’s ok.

I assume you have a card reader? Can you attach the camera to the computer and try to download that way?

What do you mean they won’t download? Does the computer see the camera or card as a separate drive? If so can you navigate to the pictures and see the file names?

If the computer can’t see them it’s time to use a file recovery software like Recuva. After you download the files then throw the SD card in the trash.

I don’t care unless the images are used by a competitor in my area.

The assignment sounds candidly bizarre in trying to "burst" shoot plant photos.

I would go to as many nurseries as possible and take as many individual clean, clear sharp photos that you can. Maybe different angles of each plant. Offer to give photos of individual plants to the nursery owner/manager. I have done this and placed the photos on a DVD. It was greatly appreciated and I got to take photos willy-nilly in the nurseries.

If taking photos of plants, flowers etc. I want them to be absolutely clear and sharp with great color contrasts. This is one of my last ones.

Well the task here is speed. Gotta shoot bushes, plants, trees, landscapes, roofing, concrete, houses, drywall, many hundreds of shots each. Gotta be Lockett split to get it all done in a reasonable time frame.

For a large variety of trees and bushes look for an arboretum. It will have many different kinds and types of plants.

I went to a nearby arboretum/botanical garden. The variety was enormous.
