Another good edit pkg is ON1 2017. It can be stand-alone or PS CC 2017 plug-in. I have used it each way. Switching modules within the software sometimes causes an unwanted program closure. Very Annoying!!
I use NIK filter "SILVER EFEX PRO 2" with its variety of presets and fine tuning controls. After I get pretty close to my vision for a particular image, I switch back to PS CC 2017 to perform final tweaking & save as JPG ... on to the next one. NIK COLLECTION by Google.
I use a SIGMA 50-500 on a Nikon D810. Had it for several years & it works well. The D810 has enough pixels to allow cropping with minimal noise.
SIGMA also makes the 150-600 lens. Buy a sturdy tripod for that one b/c I hear it is Heavy.
It seems as though the (main) subject is the house, which is Blk &Wht - except the roof. It "fits" the scene better (my opinion) in B&W.
